Introduction

An association was formed in 1997 following enquiries to locate ex Warriors who were at Christmas Island in 1957 involved in Nuclear tests. As a result our first reunion was held at Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham and a fantastic evening took place when we were invited to the Tamworth RNA club. Since then the membership has been increased with men who served on the Warrior during trooping duties at Korea, and also those who were involved on a Far East duty during which over 3000 refugees were transferred from North to South Vietnam. The ship was awarded a Presidential Citation and the Ribbon of Friendship. Further reunions have been held at Blackpool, Portsmouth, Liverpool, Plymouth, Coventry, Torquay and Llandudno.
